Ortho-Therapeutic orthoses are designed for people with diabetes, arthritis, or other conditions that result in sensitive feet. Constructed with a multi-density material, combination of plastazote and ortholite, these orthoses offer superb resilience and shock absorption. Ortholite, which is heat mouldable between 280 and 320 degrees F, is a breathable, anti-microbial material. Plastazote is recognized by medical professionals as the material of choice for treating diabetic/arthritic feet due to its distinctive self contouring capabilities.

Ortho-Therapeutic orthoses are designed to fit into both traditional footwear as well as “additional depth” orthopaedic shoes.

Comfy-Feet pride themselves on supplying some of the finest quality shoe insoles and inserts, at reasonable prices. Shoe insoles, or inserts, are designed to fit into your shoes, usually without a permanent fixture, and intended to increase your foot comfort, or to assist in foot-related problems. A good quality shoe insole should notably improve your comfort level, whether simply standing or walking. Some insoles provide extra support for work or sport related activities. Do remember, however, that shoe inserts cannot cure foot problems, and that you should always consult a qualified podiatrist when problems do occur.

The choice between basic latex insoles and gel insoles is a personal one (you may even prefer leather). Modern polymer gels have certainly been developed to a very high degree of efficiency, and insoles produced from these materials are particularly resilient and comfortable, and even look more substantial than shoe insoles manufactured from latex or leather. Latex insoles provide comfort at an affordable price, and are inexpensive to replace, whilst the leather alternative perhaps gives a "classy" look and feel.
